FAQ
HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
Tattoos come in every shape and size imaginable and none are the same as the next, nor do they cost the same. We understand tattoos can be expensive and strive to meet the budget needs of all our clients.and a fairly wide spectrum of smaller designs can fall under this category. Often times we will agree on a flat rate These larger bodies of work are based on how involved they are as far as size, placement, complexity and detail. Full sleeves, torsos, legs and back pieces have become more and more popular these days and can take multiple sessions to finish.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Your time with us is important, to maximize this time, it’s necessary that we both show up fresh and ready. Our aim is your comfort and focus, and our ability to work as efficiently as possible. Please make sure you have a good nights rest the night before. Please refrain from drinking alcohol the night before, as it tends to thin your blood and impair our ability to work effectively. Eat a healthy breakfast or snack before hand or bring something along with you. You’re welcome to bring in some headphones or reading material or anything that will help you focus and rela. We would appreciate it if you could arrive 5-10 minutes beforehand to allow time to sign in and get settled.
Going to a tattoo studio is no different than patronizing a good restaurant. You are the customer and we are here to make your experiences the best we possibly can. In return, we have the right to expect you to conduct yourself in a civil, polite manner. To help make your next tattoo experience the best it can be, here is a list of Dos and Don’ts:
-DO NOT go into a tattoo studio if you’ve been drinking or if you’re under the influence of drugs. Show your artist some respect and come sober. Nobody likes dealing with drunks.
-DO NOT try to bargain with your artist. Bargaining in a tattoo shop is an exercise in bad taste and the quickest way to tick your artist off. You want quality, not a bargain.
-DO NOT brag to your artist about how cheap you got your other tattoos. You will not earn brownie points, and it
-----------------_-----------------------------------------_-----------------------------------------
-DO tell your artist if you are feeling green or funny. Tell your artist right away (don’t try to tough it out), so that he/she can deal with it. Your artist is prepared for it and knows how to handle it.
-DO tip your artist. If you didn’t know that tipping your artist is customary, YOU DO NOW! Tattoo artists do not get paid an hourly wage, they earn a percentage of the money you pay for your tattoo and that’s it. If you receive exceptional service, show your appreciation by tipping. As a general rule, tipping 10% is a minimum, 15-20% is normal, and anything more is considered tipping heavily.
A little common courtesy and etiquette can go a long way towards making your entire tattoo experience much more rewarding and pleasant.
